After two straight wins the last thing Rob Flowers and his Daniel Boone football team wanted was to sit on the sidelines in Week 5.
The Blazers had an open date on their schedule until today, when they were able to pick up a game with Ephrata.
The Blazers will play at War Memorial Field Friday at 7.

Boone is coming off a 27-12 win against Conestoga Valley that evened its record at 2-2. It opened the season with back-to-back losses.
“It is a different picture right now,” Flowers said following Friday’s win, “it’s the picture we thought we could be in.”
Ephrata (3-1) is coming off a 28-7 win at Elco. It opened the season with a 41-20 win over Muhlenberg.
The Mounts are led by bruising running back Andre Weidman, who has rushed for 630 yards and scored eight touchdowns.
The Mounts play in Section 3 of the Lancaster-Lebanon League and are hoping to compete with Lampeter-Strasburg, Donegal and Lancaster Catholic for the title.
Ephrata was initially scheduled to play Columbia, which had to withdraw due to COVID issues at the school.
Ephrata finished 4-3 last season.
