Cam Jones, Jven Williams among Manheim Touchdown Club award recipients
Cam Jones of Wilson and Jven Williams of Wyomissing have collected some final high school football awards.
Jones has been named Big School Player of the Year and Williams Small School Player of the Year by the Manheim Touchdown Club.
Awards were announced at halftime Friday at the Tri-County All-Star game at Manheim Central.
In addition, Berks Catholic’s Josiah Jordan was named Small School Special Teams Player of the Year, Jones was named Big School Special Teams Player of the Year, Williams was named Small School Lineman of the Year and Tyler Hurst of Garden Spot was named Big School Lineman of the Year.
Jones, who played in the Big 33 Classic Sunday, was a two-time All-State pick and Berks County Player of the Year after rushing for 999 yards and scored 25 TDs, including a record five on punts. He will play next season at Holy Cross.
Williams was the No. 1 recruit in the state and enrolled at Penn State in January. He was named Outstanding Lineman and Offensive Lineman of the Year in Section 2 of Lancaster-Lebanon League and Berks County Offensive Lineman of the Year.

Jordan, the East MVP in the PSFCA East-West game earlier this month, rushed for 1,217 yards and 20 TDs for the Saints. The Wilkes recruit was named the Lancaster-Lebanon League’s Section 4 Defensive Back of the Year.
Hurst was named Outstanding Lineman and Defensive Lineman of the Year in Section 3.
Lucas Palange of Exeter was the other finalist for the Touchdown Club’s Big School Player of the Year. Jordan was a finalist for Small School Player of the Year. Hamburg’s Charles Sheppard was a finalist for Small School Lineman of the Year. Conrad Weiser’s Adam Noll was a finalist for Big School Special Teams Player of the Year.
Hempfield’s Deyvid Palepale was a finalist for the Big School Lineman of the Year.
