Berks Catholic kicker earns national recognition

Months after earning All-State, All-Berks, and all-league honors Berks Catholic’s Alexi Reali is to drawing national recognition.
Reali, who handled punting, field goal and kickoff duties for the Saints, has been named one of the top sophomore punters in the nation by Kohl’s Kicking. He is among six punters in the Class of 2028 to earn All-American status.
Of the 28 sophomore specialists named to Koh’s All-American team, Reali is the only one from Pennsylvania.
Israel Carmona of Arizona was named the first team punter. Julian Trujillo of Colorado was named the second team punter. Reali is one of four honorable mention punters.
Late last year, after competing in Kohl’s Southern Winter Showcase, Reali was ranked the No. 17 punter in the Class of 2028.
Reali’s performance, according to the Kohl’s website, “was consistent and well-rounded, despite the challenging weather conditions. (Alex) won the punt competition for his class, demonstrating his skills and talent with a punt charting score of 93.42 points, highlighted by a best punt of 47 yards and a hang time of 4.5 seconds.
“In kickoff charting, he scored 100.05 points, with his longest ball reaching 67 yards and a hang time of 3.7 seconds.”
Reali also excelled at the Kohl’s National Scholarship Camp, scoring 18 points in field goals and achieving a kickoff score of 98.38 points, including a notable 48-yard kick with a hang time of 4.4 seconds. His earlier performance at the 2024 Kohl’s Eastern Winter Showcase further showcased his potential, where he scored four points on field goals and earned a kickoff score of 93.05, along with a strong punting score of 95.00.
Reali earned All-Berks and Section 5 all-league honors as a placekicker after kicking six field goals, three of them from 40 yards or longer. He converted 45-of-46 PATs and put half of his 60 kickoffs into the end zone for touchbacks.
He was a second-team All-State placekicker on the Pennsylvania Football News Class 3A Coaches Select team.
