All-Berks Offense: Singleton, Klitsch, Feliciano among repeat picks

Nick Singleton makes history every time he touches the football. He made a little more by being selecting to the All-Berks team for the fourth straight season.

The Gov. Mifflin running back is the first four-time All-Berks first-team pick since Wyomissing’s Scott Weiss, a placekicker who was picked each year from 1990-93.

Singleton may be the first non-specialist in Berks history picked four times.

He’s joined on the All-Berks Offense by four other repeat selections: Conrad Weiser quarterback Logan Klitsch, Berks Receiver of the Year Aanjay Feliciano of Conrad Weiser, Exeter wide receiver Joey Schlaffer and Berks Catholic’s Christian Cacchione, picked as the All-Purpose Back.

Wyomissing, Exeter and Conrad Weiser each had three first-team picks on offense; Wilson had two.

Overall, Wyomissing, Gov. Mifflin and Conrad Weiser each had five All-Berks picks; Weiser and Wilson each had four.

Klitsch returns to the team after leading Berks with 2,472 passing yards and 24 TD passes; he completed 67.6 percent of his passes.

Feliciano led Berks with 68 catches, 1,249 yards and 15 TD receptions. Schlaffer averaged 18.4 yards on his 36 catches.

Twin Valley’s Trey Freeman, who had over 1,100 receiving yards, was selected at kick returner. He averaged 35.3 yards on 12 kickoff returns; he returned one for a touchdown.

Each of the four running backs has topped 1,000 rushing yards this season, led by Singleton’s 2,019. Wilson’s Jadyn Jones went for 1,364, Wyomissing’s Tommy Grabowski for 1,194 and Cacchione for 1,137.

The All-Berks team was selected in voting conducted by the members of the Berks County Football Coaches Association.
