Twin Valley’s Trey Freeman is Wyomissing Physical Therapy Offensive Player of the Week
Wyomissing Physical Therapy Offensive Player of the Week
Trey Freeman has become known as a big-game player at Twin Valley.
Friday he had his biggest, yet.
The senior wide receiver had 10 catches for 189 yards and a touchdown in a 31-12 win over Executive Education Academy that clinched a winning record for the Raiders.
He set program records for receptions and receiving yards in a game and has been named Wyomissing Physical Therapy Offensive Player of the Week.

“Trey has become indispensable on both sides of the ball this year, as well as on special teams,” said Raiders coach Kris Olsen. “He has been a joy to watch and is one of those players you keep an eye on because you don’t know when he is going to do something special, like return a kick for a TD, turn a screen pass in to a long TD, or make a spectacular catch.”
Freeman pushed his season receiving total to 947 yards, smashing the Raiders’ single-season mark of 818, set by Nick Kurtz in 2018.
He’s now within 17 yards of the Berks record for career receiving yards, 2,110, set by Wyomissing’s Nolan McCready in 2001. Freeman has 2,093 yards and is just the second player in Berks history to top 2,000 yards.
Freeman extended his program records for career receptions (104) and career touchdowns catches (19) and is within one of Kurtz’s record of 46 catches in a season, set in 2018. His 45 catches this season are second-most in Berks.
“Trey’s a great team player,” Olsen said. “He has worked hard and grown tremendously as a player since his first game as a freshman. He’s always looking for ways to make himself better and give himself an advantage on the field.”
Freeman is the first Twin Valley player to earn a MikeDragoSports.com Player of the Week award this season.
