Week 13: Fearless Friday Football Forecast (updated with results)

With the playoffs reaching the district semifinals and championship game and in some classes the state quarterfinals you’d think there would be a lot of close games and toss-ups this weekend.
Our Fearless Forecasters don’t see it that way. Seven of our nine picks are either a clean sweep or heavily lean to one side, 12-to-1.
The lone toss-up comes at Twin Valley Stadium, where the Raiders host Manheim Central, which owns more District 3 titles than any other program. The Forecasters give the Barons a slight edge, though leader Joe Mays and three of the other top six in the standings go with the Raiders.
Each week, MikeDragoSports.com staff writers and photographers, along with Jeff Reinhart of football partner LNP/Lancasteronline and Daryn Zeiner of Jerry Geleff Media, will pick all the Berks games. We’ll keep standings and the Forecaster with the most points at the end of the season will get a big prize!
Each correct pick earns one point; if a Forecaster “doubles down” on a Berks team and is correct he gets two points. Each Fearless Forecaster can “down double” on a team only once during the regular season (and once again during the postseason).
