Twin Valley finds opponent for Friday night

Twin Valley has secured a football game for Friday night, adding Executive Education Academy.

The Raiders and Raptors will play at 7 at Twin Valley Stadium.

Twin Valley was left without a game earlier in the week when Hamburg was forced to pull out, due to COVID issues.

The Raiders (5-3) are battling for a District 3 Class 5A playoff spot; they’re ranked No. 12 after eight weeks. The top 14 qualify.

Executive Education is in its first season of varsity football. The Raptors (4-4) opened the season with a 46-12 loss at Berks Catholic but strung together a three-game winning streak recently, beating Bristol, Overbrook and Line Mountain.

The Raptors lost to Upper Dauphin 38-14 last week.

Executive Education Academy Charter is located in Allentown. It opened for the 2014-15 school year.
