Logan Klitsch threw for 307 yards in one of the most productive passing performances in program history as Conrad Weiser knocked off visiting New Oxford 48-26 Friday in a non-league game.
The senior completed 21-of-25 passes, with no interceptions, and threw a pair of scoring passes as the Scouts (6-2) won their third straight game and enhanced their chances for the upcoming District 3 Class 4A playoffs.

Seven of Klitsch’s completions went to Aanjay Feliciano, who set the program record for career receiving yards. He now has 1,724, topping the record of 1,615, held by Matt Weiser.
Klitsch’s 61-yard scoring pass to Feliciano gave Weiser the lead for good at 14-13 in the second period.
The Colonials (5-3), who were ranked No. 9 in 5A, took a first-quarter lead on a pair of long field goals from Daniel Wolfe, from 45 and 46 yards, respectively. The second put New Oxford up 13-7.
The Scouts scored three unanswered touchdowns in the second quarter, two from Feliciano, to lead 28-13 at the half.
New Oxford closed within 28-20 on Brittyn Eakins’ 79-yard TD run in the third quarter before the Scouts pulled away, getting a 1-yard TD run from Klitsch and a 2-yard run from Cole Rothermel.
Klitsch also scored on a 4-yard run.
Sophomore Sevon Parham scored twice, on a 5-yard reception and a 35-yard run. He rushed for a team-high 77 yards.
Eakins rushed for a game-high 111 yards on 22 carries.
Klitsch’s 21 completions are second-most in program history; Jim Debiec set the record with 23 in 2008 against West York.
The 307 passing yards are third-most in program history, behind Debiec’s 330 and Klitsch’s 318 earlier this season vs. Fleetwood.
Klitsch has thrown for 4,536 career yards, fifth-most in Berks history. Only three Berks passers — Chad Henne, Chris Bokosky and Jon Monteiro — have topped 5,000 yards.
He has thrown for 1,831 yards this season.
Feliciano now has 84 career catches, eight short of Matt Weiser’s program record.
