Fearless Friday Football Forecast for Week 4 (updated with results)

Week 4 means the start of league play and there’s no better way to kick it off than with the “Backyard Brawl” between Berks Catholic and Wyomissing.
Well, a good way to start for the Spartans, at least. For the Saints? Not an enviable task going against a team that’s won 38 straight regular season games and is ranked No. 2 in the state in its classification.
The Spartans are a stone-cold favorite this week with the Fearless Forecasters. They’re one of eight clean sweeps on the board, favored 13-0 by the Forecasters.
But what do we know? Twelve of us picked Kutztown to win last week and the Cougars lost by 17 points. Everyone picked Wyomissing and the Spartans were down 20 points early in the second half. Of course, they made a monster comeback to bail us out.
Each week, MikeDragoSports.com staff writers and photographers, along with Jeff Reinhart of football partner LNP/Lancasteronline, and Daryn Zeiner of Jerry Geleff Media will pick the games. We’ll keep standings and the Forecaster with the most points at the end of the season will get a big prize! (Big being a relative term.)
Each correct pick earns one point; if a Forecaster “doubles down” on a Berks team and is correct he gets two points.
Remember: Each Fearless Forecaster can only “down double” on a team once during the regular season (and once again during the postseason).
