Fearless Friday Football Forecast Finale

This is the final week of the District 3 Tournament and with it the final week of the Fearless Friday Football Forecast for 2022.

Exeter goes for a championship Friday night. Wyomissing and Joe Mays have already locked up theirs.

The Spartans did it by beating West Perry 63-7 for the District 3 Class 3A crown last week; Mays did it with his second perfect card of the season in Week 13 and by going with all the favorites this week.

He has a two-win lead over second place and can’t be caught — no matter what transpires on the field this weekend.

Even though there figure to be some close games involving District 3 teams this weekend — Manheim Township did, after all, beat Harrisburg earlier this year — the Forecasters were in near total agreement on all of the games.

Exeter and Bishop McDevitt swept the board at 13-0 and Wyomissing has just one dissenter. Only a couple Forecasters believe the Blue Streaks can do it again.

As promised before the season the Forecaster with the most wins is in line for a big prize: A Super Bowl-sized party hoagy from Mays Sandwich Shop. We’re sure Season 1 winner Joe Mays will enjoy sharing that with his friends — and perhaps his special guests on the next edition of “The Bulldog Hour.”
