Week 11: Fearless Friday Football Forecast (updated with results)
The playoffs have finally arrived and the first-round match-ups have brought plenty of toss-up games. As you can see our Fearless Forecasters were squabbling all week and came to agreement on very little.
Sure, everyone’s taking state-ranked Steel-High over unfortunate Fairfield — that one should wrap up pretty quickly.
The rest of the card? Let’s just say there was a lot of coin-tossing this week (and checking in with Mr. Born). Hamburg/Upper Dauphin, Cocalico/Elizabethtown, Kennard-Dale/East Pennsboro and Williamsport/Boyertown have the room just about evenly split.
Each week throughout the season MikeDragoSports.com staff writers and photographers, along with Jeff Reinhart of football partner LNP/Lancasteronline, are picking the games. We’re keeping standings and the Forecaster with the most points at the end of the season will get a big prize! (Big being a relative term.)
Each correct pick earns one point; if a Forecaster “doubles down” and is correct he gets two points.
Each Fearless Forecaster can “down double” on a given team only once during the postseason and (new rule here) it must be a Berks team. (That’ll make it a bit tougher going forward.)
We will continue to post picks through the end of the District 3 playoffs.
