Lancaster-Lebanon Quarterback Club names top linemen, backs for Week 5


Linemen of the Week

Section 1

Weston Nolt

Syles Cox, Hempfield: Had five tackles, two for loss, and a high blocking grade in 17-14 win over Manheim Township.

Section 2

Jayden Weit, Manheim Central: End had eight solo tackles, two assists and two sacks in 47-13 win over Warwick.

Section 3

Weston Nolt, Ephrata: Was consistent blocking on offense. On defense, had 22 tackles (17 solo), with six for loss, two sacks and two hurries in 28-20 win over Daniel Boone.

Section 4

Luke Hines, Lampeter Strasburg: Had eight tackles, two for loss, in 23-14 win over Cocalico.

Section 5

Jon Shay, Annville-Cleona: Defensive end had 12 tackles and three sacks in 27-7 win over Columbia.


Backs of the Week

Section 1

Tommy Hunsicker, Wilson: Completed 8-of-12 passes for 127 yards and 3 TD with no interceptions in 36-13 win over Cedar Crest. Ran for 88 yards on 10 carries.

Section 2

Bryson Arnold, Manheim Central: Carried 21 times for 201 yards and 2 TD’s in 47-13 win over Warwick.

Section 3

Andre Weideman, Ephrata: Had had 20 carries for 71 yards and a TD, three catches for 100 yards and 2 TDs and 11 tackles in 28-20 win over Daniel Boone. 

Section 4

Adam Noll, Conrad Weiser: Was 6-for-6 on PATs, kicked 28-yard FG, had one punt for 40 yds inside the 1 and kicked five touchbacks in 45-7 win over Octorara.

Section 5

Will Cranford, Lancaster Catholic: Completed 14-of-18 passes for 351 and 5 TD’s in 55-20 win over Northern Lebanon.
