MikeDragoSports.com, LNP/LancasterOnline set to kick off historic football partnership

As we approach the start of a major change in the Berks football landscape MikeDragoSports.com is excited to announce a landmark partnership with LNP | LancasterOnline to provide readers throughout the region unprecedented coverage of high school football.

MikeDragoSports.com and LNP | LancasterOnline are teaming up to ensure football fans the most in-depth coverage available for the newly formed 37-team Lancaster-Lebanon League, which now includes 13 programs from the former Berks Football League.

The competition on the field is expected to be top-shelf and MikeDragoSports.com and LNP | LancasterOnline are committed to provide sideline-to-sideline coverage unavailable anywhere else.

MikeDragoSports.com covered more Berks football games than any publication last season and has expanded its reporting and photography staff to ensure even more game stories and photos for the 2022 season.

“Combining our efforts with the staff at LNP | LancasterOnline will be a game-changer,” said Mike Drago, managing editor of MikeDragoSports.com. “We have had unprecedented football coverage throughout the summer leading up to the season kickoff and will continue that throughout the season, with player profiles, game previews, Player of the Week selections and in-depth game coverage.”

The media partners will routinely have 25 or more reporters and photograpers in the field each weekend to provide the most up-to-date information.

“We’re thrilled to be partners with such an established and talented sports journalist as Mike Drago and his team of reporters,” said Tom Murse, executive editor of LNP | LancasterOnline. “This partnership enables LNP | LancasterOnline to provide coverage of all 37 high school football teams now in the Lancaster-Lebanon League with the inclusion of Berks County. We look forward to an exciting fall season, and we know our readers do, too.”

“Over the years I’ve worked closely with the sportswriters at LNP | LancasterOnline — Mike Gross, Jeff Reinhart and John Walk — and look forward to being on the same coverage team,” said Drago. “The staff at LNP | LancasterOnline respects journalism and high school sports and does its best to provide readers with the professional coverage.”

MikeDragoSports.com has been previewing the 2022 football season for weeks and will continue with team previews of Berks teams each day leading up to the season-openers Aug. 26.

LNP | LancasterOnline is publishing comprehensive daily previews and updates throughout August and will publish its preseason football tab Aug. 24.

MikeDragoSports.com was launched Aug. 1, 2021, to continue providing the kind of in-depth, quality high school sports coverage Berks County fans grew accustomed to over the years.
