Tom Brady owns the NFL single-season record for touchdowns-to-interceptions ratio. In 2016 he threw 28 TDs with just two interceptions, a 14-to-1 ratio. That’s pretty good. Numbers like that are one of the reasons many consider him the G.O.A.T.
Berks County has produced a couple of passers with even better numbers: Governor Mifflin’s Dan Batz and Wilson’s Eric Hetrich, each at 15-to-1.
They’re currently second on the list to Twin Valley sophomore Maverik Foster, who has thrown 14 touchdowns without an interception in 10 regular season games.
Only one other Berks quarterback over the past five decades has done that: Hetrich, who didn’t throw an interception in 2004 until the first round of the playoffs.

Foster will put his streak on the line when the Raiders open the district playoffs Friday against West Perry.
Here’s a list of all Berks passers with a 5-to-1 ratio or better.
The list includes all players since 1981; full statistics were not widely kept for all Berks teams prior to that season.
A player must have thrown a minimum of 10 TDs to make the cut.
There are some interesting names on the list.
Chad Henne, who played at Wilson, the University of Michigan, and in the NFL for 15 seasons. He’s currently the Bulldogs quarterbacks coach.
Jeremy Palm, who also played at Wilson and is currently the Bulldogs offensive coordinator, is also on the list.
So is Muhlenberg head coach Rob Flowers.
Last season was a banner one for Berks quarterbacks; you’ll find four passers from last season, mostly near the top of the list. One of them, Exeter’s Riley Martinez, is still playing.
So is Wyomissing sophomore Brady Eisenhower, who has attempted just 44 passes this season but has seen one-fourth of them end up as touchdowns.
