Twin Valley was perfect in all three phases of football as it stomped Northern Lebanon 67-0 in a Lancaster-Lebanon Section 4 matchup Friday night at Elverson.

The Raiders’ first score was set up after a blocked punt by Lucas Myers. Drew Engle punched it in from a yard out on the next play.

After forcing another punt Myers needed three rushes (44 yards) to find the end zone for a 14-0 lead.

The Raiders (3-0, 6-0) went to the air on their next drive as sophomore quarterback Maverik Foster connected with wide receiver Chase Reilly for his first of two touchdown receptions, this one a 29-yarder to make it 28-0 in the first quarter.

The Raiders offense had a short field for almost every drive of the first half thanks to their stout defense. The Vikings (0-3, 1-5) only crossed midfield once in the first half and were forced to punt seven times.  The Vikings were held to minus-5 yards rushing and 52 total yards in the first half.

“We had a really good week of practice and I thought we would play that way based on that and the kids showed it well,” said Raiders coach Brett Myers.

Only once did Twin Valley have to start a drive in its own end of the field; on that one play Foster connected with Reilly again, this time for a 71-yard touchdown.

Ben Grundy ended the half with a 32-yard punt return touchdown, extending the Raiders lead to 56-0.

The Raiders, ranked No. 6 in the state in Class 4A, continued their first-half dominance; they have outscored their opponents 294-11 before halftime. Overall, the Raiders have outscored the opposition 354-46 and increased their scoring average to 59 points per game.

Key statistic
