List: Berks Coaches of the Year for each sport for 2024-25
Alan Moyer was named Berks football Coach of the Year after leading Conrad Weiser to the greatest turnaround in Berks football history, the Scouts going 10-0 in the regular season after finishing 2-8 a year ago.
Matt Coldren was named Berks boys basketball Coach of the Year for the second straight year and for the sixth time overall after leading the Bulldogs to the Berks Conference championship. Wilson defeated Reading High 55-39 in the title game.
Coldren, the winningest coach in program history, was previously named Berks Coach of the Year in 2024, 2021, 2020, 2014, and 2007.
He is one of five Berks coaches selected for the second straight year. The others: Roy Snyder, boys swimming, Wilson; Jack Heim, girls cross country, Gov. Mifflin; Kari Addis, girls bowling, Gov. Mifflin; and Tom Houck, girls swimming, Wilson.
Gov. Mifflin had the Coach of the Year recipient in six sports, three in boys sports (baseball, golf, and volleyball), three in girls sports (bowling, cross country, and soccer).
Wilson was next with five; Wyomissing had four.
