Exeter’s Wegman, Wilson’s Hunsicker unanimous picks on Berks’ Big School team

Exeter offensive tackle Logan Wegman and Wilson outside linebacker Christo Hunsicker are unanimous picks on the inaugural BCFCA Big School All-Berks team.

Conrad Weiser’s Alan Moyer, whose team recorded its first perfect regular season in 28 years, is a unanimous choice as Coach of the Year.

The team was selected in voting by coaches of Berks County’s eight largest schools: Conrad Weiser, Daniel Boone, Exeter, Fleetwood, Gov. Mifflin, Muhlenberg, Reading High and Wilson.

Six players are two-way picks: Wegman, at tackle and defensive tackle; Conrad Weiser’s Donovan Gingrich, at quarterback and punter; Conrad Weiser’s Evan Rittle, at wide receiver and long snapper; Exeter’s Jayden Zandier, at running back and kick returner; Muhlenberg’s Cameron Small, at running back and defensive back; and Reading High’s Gabriel Laws, at All-Purpose Back and inside linebacker.

Wilson tight end Michael Glover is the lone sophomore.

Small is among five juniors selected.
