Berks crew to officiate PIAA football championship

A seven-man officiating crew from the Reading Football Officials will work Saturday’s PIAA Class 6A championship game at Hersheypark Stadium.

The crew includes: Al Lubas, referee; Joe Zaorski, umpire; Tom Miller Jr., linesman; George Kurowski, line judge; Scott Weidner, field judge; Rich Robinson, back judge; and Joe Yetter, side judge.

St. Josephs’s Prep meets Mount Lebanon in the championship game at 6.

This is the third PIAA football championship game for Lubas. It is the second for Miller, Kurowski and Weidner, and the first for Zaorski, Robinson and Joe Yetter.

All games will be broadcast on PCN.
